By default above configuration exists on the router with the password ‘admin’.

You can allow other services like below:

[H3C-luser-admin]service-type telnet ssh terminal

Privilege Levels

Creating User and assigning Access

§        Create a local user and enter local user view

          [H3C] local-user user-name

   

      By default, no local user exists. 

§        Set the authentication password for the local user

          [H3C-$] Password { cipher | simple } password 

§        Specify the command level of the local user

      
          [H3C-$] authorization-attribute level level

   

      By default, the command level is 0.

§        Specify the service type for the local user ( e.g. Console )

       
          [H3C-$] service-type terminal 

      By default, no service type is specified. 

Note - $ sign indicates that prompt will be different once you enter the command.

Bootup Screen

When the router boots up completely, the first prompt will be user view i.e. <router name>.

e.g. <H3C>

In user view, you can perform display, debugging, and file-management operations; set the system time; restart  the router; and perform FTP and Telnet operations.

 

§        You can enter system view from user view. 

         <H3C>system-view

          [H3C]

In system-view you can configure everything.

§       Changing Host Name

 

         [H3C] sysname Test

§       To Exit

          [Test] quit

          <Test>

Hello Techies......

      Till now you have been surrounded by cisco similarities. With HP increasing it's awareness in the market, it is very beneficial for Techies like us to be updated with the latest technologies.

      I want to break the barrier wherein Techie says that there are too many vendors market due to which it is becoming difficult to cope up with the New technologies.

Well here I would say that only CLI changes .... Technology remains same... :)
